The Challah for Hunger Internship is a yearlong paid leadership position. Interns receive excellent experience in community outreach, all under the supervision of Hillel staff. Working closely with student leadership boards and other engagement interns, Challah for Hunger Interns are responsible for community outreach, contributing the educational goals of the program, and overseeing the program’s finances.
With a commitment of 10 hours per week, each intern carries out administrative tasks, attends Thursday baking, and ideally is present for Friday selling sessions. The internship runs from September through May.
The ideal candidate:
